Why isn’t my SNOObear playing white noise?Updated 11 days ago
If your SNOObear is not emitting white noise as expected or if it starts but stops before the full 30 or 60-minute cycle, the most common cause is low battery power.
Even if SNOObear appears to power on, low or degraded batteries may not be able to sustain playback for the entire duration. It might seem like you can restart SNOObear multiple times, but if it consistently stops early, the battery level is likely the issue.
Try this first:
If you have not already, we recommend replacing the batteries with a brand-new set. Here are some important tips when doing so:
Avoid using rechargeable batteries unless you are sure they are fully charged and in good condition. Over time, rechargeable batteries degrade and may not hold enough charge.
Do not use old or unused batteries that may have been sitting in a drawer for a long time. Batteries can slowly lose effectiveness over time, even if still in original packaging.
Use a fresh, high-quality, brand-new set of standard AA batteries for best results.
Once you insert new batteries, test SNOObear again.
