Is it recommended for babies to be secured all night long?Updated 13 hours ago

Yes. Today, it would be unthinkable for parents to take their baby for even a 5-minute car ride, without putting them in an infant seat to keep them safely restrained. Yet, every night, we put babies in bed totally unsecured for 12 to 14 hours!

Why is that a concern? Because ~3,500 babies die of SUID every year and almost two-thirds of those deaths occur when babies roll to—or are placed on—the side or stomach. That makes a baby’s bed one of the riskiest places in a family’s home. Our hope and goal with SNOO is to keep sleeping babies safely secured!
