I have an Eero Wi-Fi® router and I am unable to provision the SNOO. What should I do?Updated 11 days ago

We’ve noticed that some Eero routers may experience issues during the SNOO provisioning process. In these cases, it's helpful to test whether your SNOO can connect to a different Wi-Fi network.

Since most people don’t have multiple routers at home, the easiest option is to use a 2.4 GHz mobile hotspot. To save time and avoid switching networks later, we recommend setting up your hotspot to use the exact same Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password as your Eero network. This way, once your SNOO connects, it will automatically recognize and connect to your Eero when it comes back online, without needing to go through setup again.

Once your hotspot is set up, try following the steps below to complete the connection process:

  1. On your phone, create a mobile hotspot that broadcasts on 2.4 GHz (not 5 GHz), using the exact same network name (SSID) and password as your Eero network.

  2. Temporarily power off your Eero router. This ensures that only your mobile hotspot is active and broadcasting the network.

  3. With only the hotspot active, open the Happiest Baby app and follow the steps to connect your SNOO to Wi-Fi using the hotspot.

  4. Once SNOO successfully connects, turn off the hotspot.

  5. Power your Eero router back on and wait for it to fully boot up.

  6. Unplug the SNOO, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in. This will reboot the system.

  7. After rebooting, your SNOO should automatically connect to the Eero network.
